Digital & Print Design
Below are a few of the projects I’ve had the privilege of being part of.
Print Designs
This is a Book cover that I designed for the famous book "Of Mice and Men". The project here was to Design a book cover for a book of our Choice. I was required to Design it using Illustrator.

This is a design I came up with for a sweater. The goal here was to create something, like a t-shirt, that would represent my department at my University. I am under the Narrative Arts program, so I knew I had to create something that would speak art and creativity.
I decided to make this sweater.
*NOTE: The character’s ‘brain’ is NOT my work.*

This is a Deck of playing cards I designed for my Digital Design Course. The assignment was to create a deck of cards that mean something; one that has a message to it.
My topic was animal extinction; because of deforestation, a lot of animals are going extinct.
I created this deck using Illustrator through tracing animals, and using shapes.

This is a Billboard Design I created myself. This advertises Living Water International, a church based in Houston Texas. This church raises money to give safe drinking water to people in Africa who lack clean drinking water.
The main purpose of this Billboard is to encourage drivers to donate to help children get clean, safe drinking water.

This here is a logo I designed for Living Water International. Living Water International is a church based in Houston Texas that raises money to give safe drinking water to people in Africa, who lack clean drinking water.
The church was in need of a logo rebrand, I had the privilege of making a logo for them.

In this Project, I was required to interview a person and discover words/ phrases that describe them. With the words we gathered, we were then required to make a typo-graphic portrait.
I took a photo of him, and then painted him using Photoshop. On top of the painting, I added the words with multiple different fonts. Each word has a corresponding font that makes sense with the word. Finally, I added a beautiful background of Houston from space, which is the city where he moved to.

This was an assignment where I had to draw and color a window that had a view of some sort. The drawing also had to have a backstory. I chose to draw a man relaxing at a house in the middle of the night, looking out at a city and a factory.
I went for a surreal art style on this one, and I really wanted to give out a vibe, I achieved this with the color palette and the reflection of the light from the Motel.
This piece was done in Photoshop

This was created when I took a Digital Design course. The assignment was to have a message inside a bottle, and to have a story behind what the message meant according to the background we built.
I gathered many things, and built this image.
First, I found a beautiful image of Yosemite National Park. Second, I took a picture of myself in my backyard to make it seem as if I were looking at the view. Third, I took a picture of my stool with a box supporting the image on the stool. Finally, I found a PNG image of a bottle, and made a glass texture in Photoshop. I gathered everything and created this image.
Although this was a project mostly for fun, I am still quite proud of what I did here, as I was able to make people believe that I was actually standing there at the park through my Photoshop skills!

This is another project that was created for fun and learning. I’m including it here because I gained some valuable experience with using this software. In this assignment I was required to make a car that symbolized something. I chose to replicate the night I saw the Milky Way galaxy for the first time.
This image was created in Illustrator using shapes, lines, and tracing.
